Our School

Mercy Christian Academy is a small, donor-funded school in Shreveport, LA. Our mission is to bear witness to the mercies of Christ by providing a high-quality, Christ-centered education to Shreveport families, regardless of income.

“The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.” Psalm 36:7

Funding Mercy

God provides in numerous ways, but mostly from individuals in local churches who want to participate in showing God’s mercy. Funds raised cover over two-thirds of our program, providing scholarships for more than 90% of our students.

See our two giving campaigns below!

Give Mercy

Join our Friends of Mercy program by becoming a recurring donor of $25 or more. This is our primary method of receiving donations at MCA. Funds given go toward tuition scholarships.

In early 2025 we were generously given a former church building. Help us renovate it into our new school!
